Ella Greenwood

Our leading lady – Ella Greenwood is playing Grace Grimston. Ella is a very experienced young actor who has worked in drama her whole life. She has been in a number of short films, TV projects and commercials and trained at Theatre Royal Stratford East Youth Theatre.

Agnes Grimston

Frances Mather

Frances Mather will bring Agnes to life.  Frances has trained at the Identity acting school, and has had many theatre and acting jobs including the role of Sylvia in 'Stepping Out' a production by the Impact Theatre Company.

Thomas, played by the talented Jon Untersander!
He has partaken in many acting roles before and with his experience he's more than ready for his role as Thomas Liliford! Most recently the short he starred in 'Quite Land, Good People' won the audience award at Max Ophüls Festival

John is the father of the Grimston household and will be brought to life by Carey Thring. Carey’s list of film and theatre credits speak for themselves and his natural onscreen presence will certainly bring John to life on film. Carey trained at Exeter College and Brighton Film School.

Mr scraps

Mr Scraps will play the Grimston family’s faithful dog “Rufford”. He is a three-year-old grey Lurcher with bags of personality. You may recognise him from “The Miniaturist” which was shown on the BBC last Christmas. We can't wait to have him on set and we’re told he works for steak!
